Quote Request

By submitting a quote request to KP Building Approvals Pty Ltd, you acknowledge that:

1. Preliminary Information – Any quotation provided is based solely on the preliminary information, plans and documents supplied at the time of enquiry. A full building assessment has not been undertaken at the quotation stage.
2. Accuracy of Information – You are responsible for ensuring the information provided with your quote request is accurate and complete. Any undisclosed works, property constraints, enforcement matters or changes to the proposed scope may result in the quotation being revised.
3. No Engagement Created – Submitting a quote request, or receiving a quotation from us, does not constitute formal engagement of KP Building Approvals as the building certifier. Formal engagement occurs only once our required Contract of Engagement has been completed and accepted in accordance with our engagement process.
4. Full Terms & Conditions – Any services subsequently provided by KP Building Approvals are subject to our Contract of Engagement and full Terms & Conditions. These will take precedence over these preliminary quote conditions where applicable.

Mandatory Plan Requirements

NO PLANS, NO QUOTE

Your plans do not need to be a complete building approval set at the quotation stage; however, they must contain enough information for us to understand the scope.

What plans do I need?

All Projects

• Site Plan
• Elevation Plan(s)

Additionally,

• New Dwellings, Secondary Dwellings, Extensions & Renovations require a floor plan 
• Re-Roofs & Demolition Works only require a clear aerial image/site plan identifying the building or area of work

PLAN REQUIREMENTS

1. File Format - Plans must be provided as PDF files. Please do not submit photographs of plans, screenshots, JPEG images or CAD files.
2. Prepared By - Plans to be prepared by a licensed architect, builder, designer and/or engineer
3. Information Required - Plans must provide enough information for us to clearly identify:

• the property and proposed building work;
• the size and location of the proposed work;
• its relationship to existing buildings and property boundaries;
• the overall height and configuration of the proposed structure; and
• the extent of any alterations, additions or demolition.

Additional services may include:

• Plumbing Compliance Applications

If you are unsure whether your project requires any of the above, that's okay — simply submit your plans for quotation. Any additional requirements identified following formal engagement and assessment will be advised to you.
